Welcome

The Southland Greyhound Racing Club was established in 1972 racing totalisator meetings out of the Southland A & P Showground's from 1976 to 1991. The club relocated to Ascot Park Raceway to establish  New Zealand's only tri code facility. The track at Ascot Park is a large one turn sand track with racing over 390m, 457m, 630m and 732m. There is kenneling for up to 100 dogs.

The club currently runs 24 race meetings a year. Most of these meetings are Tuesdays. The club operates a Bramich lure and a split timing system.
